Matthew Piazzi & The Debonairs put this together to achnowledge The 4th of July celebrations. “If I Had A Hammer” was written by environmental and social activist Pete Seeger and Lee Hays to address civil rights issues, labor and unions. It became a hit with singing groups like Peter Paul and Mary, and was considered an anthem for progressives. Other great versions were done by Trini Lopez and Sam Cooke. Now here we are performing it!
